Learn how to work with our youngest authors by creating a supportive and encouraging environment that can energize them to create using text. The author provides step by step instructions on setting up an age appropriate writing workshop with units that cover how to form ideas, structure the text, and even develop illustrations that nourish children’s creativity.

A book about the balance between resources and responsibility.

Alliterating nonfiction about flowers and their names.

Identifies various kinds of seeds, what they need to grow, how they scatter, and the role seeds play in feeding the world. Includes eight simple experiments.

Teach students about life cycles by learning about worms and the ways they benefit the garden and farms. Through reading literature and completing hands-on activities, the class will conduct a worm investigation and observe that the organisms (and other animals) need food, air and space to grow.
