Sal’s father is always telling her to “think big,” and that’s not hard for her to do, considering that she’s taller than all the other women in her family. Being big has its advantages, but Sal is sad that she’s not good at fine work, like quilting. One summer, she thinks big and makes a giant quilt of her own out of sunflowers!
