Like everyone in our region, we are still working to comprehend the damage and heartbreak brought by Hurricane Helene. We are thankful to report that all ASAP staff is safe, but many continue to lack basic services such as running water, power, and cell/internet services. Thank you for your patience. Our first step is reestablishing communications with our farmers, educators, and community to make sure people are safe and can access help. For those outside the region who have internet access, donations can be made here.

Seasonal Resources
Farmers grow this versatile vegetable in the spring and fall. While they originated in Europe, today cabbages are used heavily in Russian, Northern European, Korean, Latin American, and many other cuisines. Try cabbage raw on sandwiches and tacos, or cooked in soups and stews.
