Birds

Look, See the Bird! is a beautifully illustrated children’s book which seeks to not only promote curiosity in children about the natural world around them, but also to establish the universal quality of having a connection with nature. Look, See the Bird! follows children in a variety of locations, all of whom are learning about local birds and their habits.

Look, See the Farm! is the heartwarming story of two sisters visiting their grandparents’ organic farm during each of the four seasons, discovering the many interesting creatures that make the farm their home. Young readers will gain a look at farm life and the animals living on the farm, as well as discovering the wild birds that thrive there.

A tale celebrating the sweet features of morning.

A compilation of poetry about birds.

This story celebrates the life of an apple tree through every season of the year.  Readers will learn about the tree coming to life in the spring, fruit starting to grow in the summer, harvesting in the fall, and the rest it requires throughout the winter.  The readers will also come to realize that humans aren’t the only ones who eat apples; in fact, insects and other animals love apples just as much as we do!

The buzz of bees in summertime. The tracks of a bird in the winter snow. This beautiful book captures all the sights and sounds of a child’s interactions with nature, from planting acorns or biting into crisp apples to studying tide pools or lying back and watching the birds overhead. No matter what’s outside their windows — city streets or country meadows — kids will be inspired to explore the world around them. Illustrated by Mark Hearld.

Dad says there’s a pie tree growing in the yard, but that’s a little hard to believe. Every day birds come to the tree, which changes with the seasons, but no pies are growing yet!

A big fat bird spies a big fat worm, and a fun story of predator vs. prey unfolds.

A year in words and watercolors.
