Each quarter, ASAP’s Growing Minds co-hosts a school garden meeting with an area school. The winter meeting was held at Hall Fletcher Elementary, a school with an active garden program. Despite it being the middle of December there was still a lot to see and learn.
Growing Minds and Mills River Elementary head to McConnell Farm!
More than 50 teachers (including Head Start!), administrators, and cafeteria staff got to see first-hand where their food comes from and were inspired with fun activities and field trips they could implement in the classroom.
