In November

In November the air turns crisp and cold. Families, animals, and insects all gather together for warmth. This is a great book to share with students to celebrate the month of November.

Potatoes, Potatoes

In a valley between two towns at war lives a woman, her two sons, and a potato farm. To protect them from the war she builds a wall around her home and garden. But one day, both boys decide that they would be happier with the soldiers.

Oliver’s Vegetables

Oliver is visiting his grandfather and all he wants to eat is fried potatoes from the garden. But grandfather has an idea – Oliver needs to find the potatoes, and eat any vegetable that he finds first.

More Potatoes!

When her mom runs out of potatoes, Sue sets out to learn where the new potatoes will come from. The journey takes her to the grocery store, the warehouse that supplies the store, and the farm that supplies the warehouse.
