Recipe Book

This cookbook for kids follows Herb on his vegetarian cooking adventures, from his Grandma teaching him to cook to being asked to cook for the King and Queen! With recipes for Veggie Burgers, Risotto, and Salsa, families can read this book together and cook alongside Herb while following his flavorful journey.

This clever cookbook combines fairy tale stories with recipes for the whole family to try. The fairy tales include the familiar stories of Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and Show White, as well as more unfamiliar tales like The Runaway Pancake and The Magic Cave. Try the Little Mermaid’s Seaweed Stuffed Shells (with local spinach!) or Stone Soup with local summer squash!

Mollie Katzen brings another set of 65 recipes to life in this cookbook aimed at kids ages 8 and older. The illustrated recipes mean that kids can create delicious food without a lot of adult assistance and become creative young chefs in their own family’s kitchen!
