Get Local @ School Materials

Our Get Local @ School materials are an effective strategy for introducing local, seasonal fruits and vegetables to students.

Class sets of materials (recipe cards, “I tried local…” stickers, and bookmarks) are available for FREE to teachers in the Appalachian Grown region! Items can be picked up at our office in Asheville

If you are interested in larger sets for your entire school or district, or if you are outside the Appalachian Grown region, materials can be purchased.

Promote your farm to school and farm to preschool efforts with our seasonal and monthly Get Local @ School marketing materials:

Fall Bulletin Board

Winter Bulletin Board

Spring Bulletin Board

Are you tasting local products at your school or child care center? Let students, staff, and families know what you will be tasting with our taste test signs.
