Chef Kirk’s Kale Basil Pesto


  • 2 cups packed kale
  • 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper salt to taste


  1. In food processor or blender, add all ingredients except olive oil.
  2. While food processor/blender is running, drizzle in olive oil until pureed smooth.


Delicious served on pasta, bread/crackers, or as a spread for a sandwich. Serves 4-6.
