Melon Exploration – Preschool
Children learn about different types of melons (cantaloupe, watermelon, and honeydew) grown in WNC, become familiar with tasting new foods, and practice using their senses to explore environments.
Children become familiar with trying new foods in the preschool setting. Students interact with a new food in alternative ways, making predictions and using descriptive words to explore the melons.
